Everyday human arguments tend to escalate to an intensity aliens reserve for religious or political arguments.

The crowd was gathering around the two humans as they stood in the middle of the clearing having a discussion.

They were all gathering because the tone and level of the human’s discussion was getting louder and more heated, as the humans say, as the humans went back and forth in their discussion.

They had been walking along and found something and then they started having a discussion about what they found and as time went by, it got louder and attracted the attention of people who started to gather around and watch the show of two humans discussing their find.

Eventually it got to a stage that the crowd expected the humans to come to blows because they were so loud and animated in their discussion, that bets were even being taken on who would throw the first blow, and who would win and how long the fight would last.

Many in the crowd were reminded of wars that started like this where one person had one thougth and the other had an opposite thought and neither would give up.

But as loud, and almost violent as this discussion between the two humans was, it wasn’t about politics or religion, it was about something one of them had picked up off the ground.

“For the last time Jeremy, this is a perfect stick and nothing you say will change my mind.”

“A stick? A stick? You must be touched in the head dude. That is a branch. It’s obvious that it isn’t a stick at all and you need glasses.”

As the argument continued, a third human walked up and looked at the two. They started to laugh and the two arguing humans looked at him in shock.

“Why are you laughing dude?”

“I’m laughing at the both of you. One calling that a stick, the other calling it a branch. When obviously it is a trunk.”

The crowd was stunned as now there were three humans arguing in very loud voices in the middle of the clearing and the sound of them was attracting other humans to see what was happening.

Would there be a holy war of the Stick?
