Humans are the only species who wild animals will come up to and ask for help

Premise: Humans are seen as helpful by wild creatures no matter what planet they are on.

Alien security: “So let me get this straight. You were simply walking through the forests outside the village when the Utramip walked out of the undergrowth and came up to you and asked for help?”

Human: “Yes. Fluffy here led me to her den where her young had been trapped by a fallen tree and they were desperately in need of help. I was able to move the tree enough to allow Fluffy in to the den and she brought her young out.”

Alien: “And you just picked these young up and brought them home to look after them?”

Human: “Yes of course. They are only babies and needed some baby food and water. They are doing very well and can now move around and play like the babies they are.”

Alien: “And you have kept the mother and young in your home for the last week? Except for the times when you took them for ‘walkies’ in the forest.”

Human: “Of course. They need all the exercise they can get. They aren’t really home pets so I am looking for a new house with a big yard, preferably one close to the forest.”

Alien: “And you have been introducing the village children to them and encouraging them to play together?”

Human: “Of course. Kids of all kinds should learn to play together. And the children just love to run and chase the kitties.”

Alien: “I give up. The Utramip is our world’s alpha predator and no sane person would even go close to it but this human female seems to have bonded to one with it’s young and they are her pets. My recommendation is to post a warning about them explaining that no one is to panic and refer all concerns to the human.”
