With my speed, it didn’t take long to get back to my top floor penthouse. I landed on my balcony and stepped inside. I removed my suit, leaving it on the floor as I walked naked to the bathroom. I showered and shaved.

“What a wonderful start to my day,” I said as the shower door opened.

“Good morning, master,” a young red headed girl said as she got into the shower with me.

“I see you’ve decided to join me today, Mary.”

I walked into the bedroom after she left and opened my closet, looking over the multiple sets of costumes. One half for the Radiant Defender and the other half for the Abyssal Conqueror.

The Abyssal Conqueror already had his moment that morning, so it was time for the Radian Defender to patrol the streets. I pulled on my hero costume and headed for the balcony.

“Be safe, master,” Mary called to me as I left.

“Always.” I jumped into the air and took flight.

It was time for the Radiant Defender to protect the citizens of his city. I flew across the sky, scanning the ground for any signs of crime. It wasn’t long until I heard the screaming of a woman in distress.

I swooped down and saw two men with ski masks on, attacking a young brunette woman. She was running from them, but they had guns and were gaining. I landed in front of the men, and they were both startled and fired their weapons. Their bullets hit me and bounced off.

“You boys are making a mistake.” I stood up and held out my hands.

“Oh shit! It’s the Radiant Defender?” One of them screamed.

“Run!” the other one yelled.

They both turned and ran as fast as they could, but they weren’t fast enough. I shot forward and grabbed them. I spun them around and slammed their heads together. Their bodies fell to the ground, and the guns fell out of their hands.
