Chapter 26
“Let me go!” I was yelling at the top of my voice. “It was fucking mom and dad! They separated us NO! I have to go back.” I was actually pulling my sister and my Jinns back to where we had left.
“John,” I heard my sister whisper in my ear, then I felt her tears. “We can’t, like you said, we will cease to exist if we stop this.
“NO!” I shouted, “I refuse to go through all this shit again! You know what? Fuck fate, I really don’t give a shit.”
It was then that a fair-skinned female reached out to me as I tried to back away from her. “Stop John,” Catherine said as I was batting the female away.
“It is necessary John,”the soft voice of the female said.
I glared at her, then I growled, “fuck you, no one deserves to be taunted and tortured as my sister and I have been. Thank you, but no, thank you, keep your damn hands off me, you’ve been no help, so, fuck off!”
The female sadly shook her head as she touched my head and I screamed.
It felt as if someone had driven a hot steel rod through my brain. I managed to throw the pale female away from me as well as my sister and Jinns.
I started to open a portal back to where we had just left, when I was tackled. I looked at my sister and Jinns as they were barely holding me down.
I started to struggle harder when the pale female managed to touch my forehead again. The pain started again as I screamed and tried to get loose again.
A white light seemed to appear before me, then the last thing I heard was my sister crying. I had to fight, if I passed out I was as good as dead.
I managed to kick loose and pop out, though I appeared a moment later across the area we were in. I felt several soft bodies as they lifted me.
I’m not sure how long I was out as when I awoke, it was a hell of a lot darker than I remember. I tried to sit up immediately, my first mistake, as the pain put me down again.
“Shhh,” a female voice said near me. I tried as hard as I could to open my eyes, but they weighed a ton. “Stop trying so hard,” I heard the same female voice say.
I must have had a look of confusion on my face as I heard a few other female voices start to giggle. Barely in a gasping whisper, I angrily stated, “I’m so damn glad you find it funny!”
That stopped the giggling and I felt those around me grow concerned. Then I heard my sister whisper, “Is he really awake?”
“I’m damn awake Catherine, none of this is funny or helpful,” I said. Then I made my second mistake as I tried to sit up again.
To say that I felt spikes go through my head would be an understatement. Mercifully this time, the darkness took me as I joyfully embraced it.
I was afraid that me, my sister and Jinns were captured, and they were waiting for me to wake up. I felt nothing but dread as I felt myself slowly returning to the land of the awake.
Luckily, I didn’t respond with violence when I awoke. I had five female faces that were staring down at me, one looked a lot like my mother.
I came up off the ground with both hands glowing and a look of anger on my face. “You’re dead,” I almost screamed at the one that looked like my mother.
“Yes well, the council decided,” she started.
“The council,” I growled as I waved a hand and all twelve appeared before me. They were then immediately pinned to the ground, almost unable to breathe. I stared at them and growled again, “I should kill all of you for this. What all of you have done is more than unacceptable!”
The two oldest tried to speak, but I wouldn’t allow it. A moment later, a different Jinn laid a hand on my arm. “Please, Catherine’s master, please release my father. I know he didn’t do what you think he did out of malice.”
I looked at the hand, then the brown-haired Jinn. I saw the sincerity in her eyes as I released all the council.
I looked at all of them still pissed as hell, I also saw Jake, Gen’s master. He had his arms crossed as he was mad as hell also.
The council suddenly fell again to the ground clutching their stomachs. Jake, had a look of satisfaction on his face.
“I thought I warned all of you after the last time with me and my Jinn’s. Now you’ve pissed off another master who is as strong as I am, with a worse temper,” Jake said.
Every one of them looked at me, then Jake as they started to shake. “You’re lucky, if it wasn’t for the great Jinn I’d end all of you,” I said.
Jake nodded, “I see you met him also, sucks, huh?”
I nodded as I glared at all of them. “I’ll let you explain, but be forewarned, if I don’t like what I hear, I am very tempted to end this council.”
They then went through their reasons, though very valid, I was sorely tempted to still end them. Jake stood nearby, his own anger seeming to grow as he listened.
“Everything you have said makes me want to end the council even more. I realize that there are some things we have to learn, but this way is not the way. His anger is as bad as mine, ending your lives would be easy,” Jake said between clenched teeth.
A huge amount of power started to appear between the council and Jake and me. We both looked at each other as we rolled our eyes.
We had both actually expected this, though sooner than later. We both crossed our arms as a representation of the great Jinn appeared.
“You are both agents for the human and the Jinn dimensions. The council can only do what I know that they have to. Had both of you not been through what you had. Do you honestly think that both of you have been able to handle all of this?” The great Jinn asked.
I looked at Jake as he did me, both our eyes were wide as we both shook our heads. I sighed as I said, “Even so, both of us are pretty messed up, how?”
The great Jinn held up a hand as he asked, “Why do you think that both of you have more than one Jinn? If they can’t calm your minds and tempers, then who can?”
We both looked at the Great Jinn as he smiled in a way that seemed to hide something. I had to admit that I was falling for Catherine and Cythina, though Cythina was barely warming up to me.
I remembered when we had first met, all the curses that the both of them had. He had over seventy-five removed from Catherine and one left on Cythina.
I was afraid that I might not be able to remove it, as even with the rest gone, the last was the worst. She had free will except for her love, I knew she felt me as a friend, though not much else.
I felt sad as I had started to have feelings for her. Feelings that I was afraid that she might never share as the last curse was really bad.
I could feel that it was from Hajib, because the mage influence was gone from the world. A great many bad things the mage had done but not even half as bad as Hajib.
“Are both of you still angered with the council? What has passed had to, I am afraid. You would have ignored the bottle,” he said to Jake, shocking the master. “You,” he pointed to me, “would have ignored the bottle and would be back home as you were injured worse than you thought. Things had to happen to you, that you are now to be here now.”
Both Jake and I turned toward each other as we thought about what had been said. Jake accepted it long before I did, he’d been through this a lot longer.
I shook my head with my arms crossed as I started to glare at the great Jinn. “That’s all good and well, but I only have one Jinn that loves me or ever will. It doesn’t matter that I love both of them.”
I saw the great Jinn smile as a huge gong sounded, both Cythina and I falling to the ground. “You love me? How, I have shown that I could never,” Cythina stated as a glow showed around her then me.
That’s when I saw that her body became far more curvy as a new look appeared in her eyes. I wasn’t sure, but I could swear that she had lust there.
“The last curse is gone!” Cythina whispered as tears started to fall then she turned to my Jinn Catherine. “I haven’t even thought of loving a male, still don’t accept for master and you.”
Several gongs sounded as Catherine stared at both of us.” It appears you have removed all but one from Catherine also,” the great Jinn said with a huge smile on his face.
Catherine’s mouth was hanging open, as was mine. Here I thought it was going to be a while before I cleared her of all of them.
I tried to go to Catherine as she also had tears falling. Cythina and my sister beat me to her as they all had tears of happiness.
I just shook my head as I looked at all that were there, it was almost over. We still had the, as I called him now, the dark Jinn.
I then looked at my mother, she was still alive and had stayed away from me and my sister. I tried to be mad and just couldn’t.
The more that I thought about it, the more I started to wonder where in the hell was dad? I turned when I felt the magic appear behind me, not shocked when dad appeared.
I shook my head at the number of Jinns, people and the mage. That’s when I sat against a tree and started to laugh, shit almost the whole family was here.
I waved a hand making a hiding field around us, I was sure mom and dad were still not known to be alive. Everyone turned toward me, their mouths open at the strength of the field.
We all talked as we decided what to do next, as we still had an extremely powerful evil Jinn out there. I looked at the great Jinn visage as he nodded, then vanished.
It took a few hours to decide that my sister and I were the ones that he was after and make a plan. I really didn’t want to put Catherine nor my Jinns in danger again, though I had no choice.
Where we were at the moment was still a few years before he would try to kill us. I shook my head as I should have noticed something about them, especially when I thought our parents had died.
