Chapter 3

Samantha thinks the same thing as Amelia, will there be a future for them Samantha decides she will make sure there is a future for them as she remembers the ring in the truck’s glove box, and she hopes she can get it and ask Amelia to marry her. She thinks she can do that as she feels the connection they have and knows she can’t let that go.

Both drift off to sleep in each other’s arms, the comfort and warmth of their bodies a welcome relief from the tension and loneliness of the past few months. As the night passes, the sun streams through the window, casting a soft golden light across the bed. Amelia stirs first, stretching luxuriously and letting out a contented sigh. She looks over at Samantha, who is still sleeping peacefully, and feels a sudden surge of love and gratitude.

She carefully extricates herself from the sheets, careful not to wake Samantha, and slips out of the bedroom and goes to the bathroom to pee and shower. As she stands under the hot spray, she thinks about their night together. It had been amazing; unlike anything she had ever experienced before. She wonders what made them finally act on their feelings, after all this time. Was it the stress of the case, or was it something deeper? She doesn’t know, but she does know that she doesn’t want it to end.

Samantha wakes up and hears the shower running so she quickly dresses and goes out to the truck to get the ring and then returns to their room. She sees Amelia step out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel and her heart skips a beat. Amelia looks beautiful even with just a towel on. Samantha strips off her clothes and goes to the bathroom to pee and shower as well. As she stands under the hot spray, she debates on how to approach the situation with Amelia. She doesn’t want to ruin what they have by rushing things, but she also doesn’t want to lose this connection they have.

They get dressed Samantha in her pants and top and Amelia in her jacket Samantha knows she will have to buy her more clothes and lingerie soon and they walk into the shop and buy and eat breakfast before going back to the truck and driving on down the highway again.

When they get to the next town they will stop at a store and buy Amelia some nice clothes and lingerie so she will have something to wear while they continue the journey to deliver her delivery of food.

The journey is long, and they stop overnight a few times and Samantha fucks Amelia every night in her truck’s sleeper cab. Each time they fuck it gets better and better and more passionate.

Samantha delivers her load in Chicago and picks up another going further away this time to Miami (1,378.4 mi) away such is the life of a truck driver, but no one has someone like Amelia in their truck with them.

They spend days together traveling across the country, sharing intimate moments in the truck’s sleeper cab and growing closer each day. The love they share is palpable, and they both know that they have found something truly special.

That night in the truck’s sleeper cab after Samantha pulled over for the night, she pulled out the ring and asked Amelia to marry her. Amelia looks at her with tears in her eyes and says yes. They hug and kiss passionately and Samantha puts the ring on Amelia’s finger. They spend the rest of the night making love, their connection growing stronger with each passing moment.

Amelia and Samantha continue the highway and roads to her next delivery point after she delivers that load, she takes a few days off and she gets married to Amelia in a civil ceremony and they honeymoon at the beach before they head back to Samantha’s truck for her next delivery this time to New York (1,279.5 mi) away.

Their marriage only strengthens their bond, and they become inseparable. They spend every moment together, sharing intimate conversations, exploring new cities, and discovering each other’s likes and dislikes. They have become each other’s rock, supporting each other through the ups and downs of long-haul trucking. They travel all over America delivering their goods, taking a few days off here and there.
