Chapter 21

One, the 9 / 10 boy/girl ... something, was not limited to that age group. No, indeed, he/she/whatever, was a pre teen by choice. The dodderer or curmudgeon ... at will ... was well played ... and she IS the best spy. She is prone to ‘trouble’ though. She is sometimes used as backup for the ‘babysitter’ ... Two. Two does security work and is sometimes abruptly away.

Six is the elderly gentleman who runs things when Seven is on a tear or vacation. Six does love a good party ... and reggae. He is responsible for ‘beach’ in winter.

Five is a matron ... in the ‘Mainline’ or ‘Tidewater’ tradition. Old money. She is not an accountant but she knows where every penny is, was and who spent it and what was the end result.

Four is the Anthropologist/Archaeologist. If dirt is needed to be dug he knows who is what and generally why.

Three is the Assist ... for everybody. I have never had to work with Three ... I have a feeling she should be, ‘uncomfortable.’

Now ... why have David and Marion met the Seven? I have no idea but things happen when the ‘gods’ show.
