Chapter 3: The Former Emperor
Life is often a cycle of events.
The end never comes, because it was discarded by something that denies it.
The continuous remains, because everything is constant.
First emperor, then king, and finally emperor, and then comes death.
The scales can change, but the more eccentric the individual is, the more likely it is that he will become an eternal caricature of himself.
“The Highest King! Ragnarök is upon us! The prophecy is fulfilled!”
“...”
“Tyr died fighting Fenrir!”
“And it is inevitable that that wolf will come to seek revenge on me, I presume. Very well, I will die today, but not for nothing. Call Vidar.”
And then they prepared for the inevitable battle. Many said that Odin died fighting the wolf, only to be avenged by his son, but it was all a strategy.
As soon as Fenrir came across Odin on the battlefield, the wolf felt frightened, as the god had no eyes, no mouth, no nose, no ears. There were only his lips, which gave the impression of a smile, which highlighted the dark void where his eyes must have been.
