Prologue: The Teacher’s Assignment

The college class began with an assignment instruction sheet already on every student’s desk. In one corner of the room a camera fed everything that took place in the classroom to all the students attending online. Those students could be anywhere in the world. Some were still attending their local senior high school while taking online college general ed classes for college credits. Seeking to get a head start and lower the cost of college by having as much as they could already done, documented and credited. Instead of four years of college they might graduate college in two saving a ton of money in the process. This class had no age limit, its only requirements were educational knowledge based. They came from every known culture and a couple that were not known well outside their local area.

All students would be encouraged to share life experiences with the class. Discussions could get heated. Only polite debates were allowed. The most personal moments or sexual experiences could be mentioned or discussed openly. Respecting each other’s difference and values, feelings, etc. This was required at all times! It was a learning environment not a church or religious moral debate! Everyone had equal rights to live their life their way!

The college teacher was issuing a challenge to all who read it. It was posted on the web, so everyone had accessed to it. Thus, it was available to the entire world not just the students in the classroom. As the teacher didn’t require students to log on to get this particular assignment. It could go viral for all the teacher cared and perhaps secretly hoped it would. That might be a positive thing! In a world increasingly becoming more of a global community. Where all cultures and individuals had a part, blended with overlapping personal values and beliefs. Hopefully making the whole world more harmonious and tolerant of differences.

The assignment. Devise a comprehensive sex education course concept or plan that they might well vote for. Should the government leaders decide a unified national, non-denominational, fully comprehensive, sex ed class or classes were necessary. One possibly beginning a puberty and continued in a freshman senior high school class. Possibly with additional related life topics segments covered over the next three years with require completion before graduation. To help solve many social problems related in some way to sex, modern dating hazards, sexual illnesses, abortion, sex crimes, etc., and especially combat births due to sexual reproductive ignorance. Also designed to help new parents be more prepared to raise their child.

Requirements include presenting what science accurately knows about sex acts, sexual risk, handling social sexual dangers, pregnancy, the experience of being pregnant including everything the mother has to or should do while pregnant for the baby, giving birth, reproductive responsibilities, when abortion might benefit society and be a blessing for the already conceived baby because of what it would be forced endure during its life, if born. Having a child wasn’t a right, it was a responsibility and a commitment to provide a quality of life that was not a punishment of endless suffering and pain!! It wasn’t about playing God; it was about showing another being mercy and true love!

Class topics would include the financial costs from conception to birth and then raising a child alone and as a couple until college entrance. The responsibilities involve and potential problems during the same period. Dealing with raising a child, including feeling, dealing with, and handling the various emotions and problems that universally, commonly occur.

Since humans are born with all the nerves used for sexual activity and learn what sexually stimulates then as they grow up at different rates due to life experiences. The topics should include ideas concerning coping with, guiding this in healthy not dramatic way, handling the immerging sexuality and physical sexual development of their child from birth to adulthood.

Including the fact that while growing up most have secrets, feelings, and varied experiences related to sex that never get shared with parents or adults. Children tend to raise each other on sexual matters far more than they let their parents do this! Partly caused by parental displays of discomfort with the topic. Perception of conflicting cultural, religious, family and local attitudes towards sexual thing acquired while growing up. Becoming increasingly self-aware of how they fit into all of that mess and confusion over what they are actually experiencing due to lack of prior information or incorrect identification of what their body is doing!
