Chapter 2
Sidenote 1 since the campground listing had finished so the sale to me was not included in the story it was done behind closed doors, but the amount paid was $220,000.
Sidenote 2 sorry to all the American readers I live in Australia, so it is a Ute to me and a Pickup to you
As I waited for the RV trailers to arrive, I decided to pass the time by browsing online marketplaces. I had been eyeing a used ride-on lawn mower for a while, and with the extra space in the garage, I thought it would be the perfect addition to our little homestead.
After scrolling through a few listings, I found a great deal on a Husqvarna ride on lawn mower that looked to be in excellent condition. The seller had provided plenty of photos and detailed descriptions, and I could tell that the mower had been well-maintained.
I quickly made the purchase and arranged for the seller to deliver the mower to my camp. I was excited to put it to the test and see how it would handle our expansive lawn.
As I waited for the mower to arrive, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. I had always wanted a ride-on lawn mower, and now that I finally had one, I knew it would make my grass care tasks so much easier and more efficient.
When the delivery truck pulled up, I eagerly opened the back of the truck and the driver lower and took the mower for a spin. The engine roared to life, and I felt a rush of power as I putted around the yard, cutting the grass with ease. The mower handled it like a dream, and I was thrilled with my purchase.
As I finished up the last of the lawn, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the extra space in our garage. It had allowed me to finally fulfill my dream of owning a ride-on lawn mower, and I knew it would make our homesteading life even more enjoyable and efficient.
As I sat in my Pickup, staring at the computer screen, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement wash over me. I had just purchased a boom gate for the entrance to my campground online, and the seller had promised to install it later that day. I had been searching for the perfect gate for weeks, and I finally found one that fit my needs and budget.
As I drove down to the entrance of my campground, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement wash over me. I removed the chain that had been covering the driveway and I could see the wooden stumps that had been placed there to mark the entrance. I removed them as well but leaving the hole for the new boom gate.
