“Ding, all players are here, let’s start the game now.”

The sudden sound of a female electronic synthesized voice startled us and we looked around for the source of the sound.

“There are ten players in total, one male player and nine female players. The King’s Game will begin now. Please be ready. The game will begin in one minute. You are not allowed to quit midway. Violators will be eliminated.”

Cold sweat broke out on my forehead. Isn’t this just an ordinary banquet? Why did they suddenly start playing games? And they were compulsory? Especially the last word “erase” really scared me. Is this for real?
