Azure Kat was pleased the unexpected company of her guild mate, Acorn, and appreciated the assistance in battling the plant monster. Though she would have wanted to get at least a strike in before the plant monster fell, it was fine with her. “Hello Acorn!’ she said with a smile on her face.

I’ve been thinking of your idea of setting up a machine shop in Nexus Haven, selling blueprints and parts for robotic companions like Crimson Blade. “That sounds fantastic! I’ll definitely talk to Texii about it. I appreciate the guidance. By the way, how’s your progress in the game? Found any exciting quests or places to explore?” Azure Kat inquired, curious about Acorn’s adventures.

“lots of places I’ve been too, and see? I’m level 16, though there are a lot of quests here. I think personally the quests nearby our guild territory are a lot funner than further out, though.’ Acorn said, as she dropped a wolf.

“That makes sense. Being close to the guild territory has its perks, and the local quests probably contribute more directly to the growth of Nexus Haven. I’ve only just started exploring the broader game world. Found some interesting spots and had a wild encounter with a dragon recently,” Azure Kat shared, her eyes glinting with excitement. “But hey, the more quests and adventures, the better, right?” she added with a grin.

“Right you are!” Acorn said with a grin of her own. “oh hey, did you enter that event, Dragon Roost yesterday? I did later in the day, but I heard a new player had participated alone in the morning, and soloed a red dragon, which dad said shouldn’t have happened. Though ... the description of the new player matches you perfectly,” she said, her eyes widening.

Azure Kat chuckled, “Guilty as charged. That was me. It was unexpected, though, because according to my sister, it was supposed to be a green dragon for my level, but things got a bit ... fiery. I still need to figure out why that happened. The event was exhilarating, though. Leveled up quite a bit and gained some new skills. By the way, have you seen my sister around?”

“Your sister is Steel Seraph right? and nah not yet, though it’s likely we won’t get to see her, or dad until later on today. They got work to do in the real world, probably investigating that red dragon incident. We’ll probably get an announcement about it later.” Acorn said.

Azure Kat nodded, “Makes sense. Well, thanks for joining me on this morning grind. It’s been fun. I’m heading to check on my Pauklaran seed and then maybe do some more training in the wild lands. You’re welcome to join if you’re interested.”

Acorn grinned and nodded her head enthusiastically, “Yes please, I’d love to join!” she said after they finished wiping the rest of the monsters. “When did you plant your Pauklaran Seed?” she asked her.

Azure Kat checked her in-game watch. “I planted it yesterday, so it should be close to sprouting. Let’s head back to my farm and see how it’s doing.” She led the way, and soon they were back at her farm.

Azure Kat approached the spot where she had planted the seed and saw that tiny leaves were starting to emerge from the soil. “Looks like it’s growing nicely. Shouldn’t be long before it becomes a forest imp companion.” She smiled, satisfied with the progress.
