There was one more iteration in Eulalie’s son-fucker campaign. She was particularly interested in the town’s reaction when Darlene Pellerin announced the “Son-Fuckers” sequel on Shannon Says.

“You moms out there — go to the Miss-Kitty website and click on ‘Sequel’. Fill out the short form — your name and contact numbers. The information will be completely confidential. Then, Charity Anne Devereaux herself will call to set up a one-on-one meeting.”

Euclid was not surprised when Darlene told her, “Before I got back to Contrary Mary’s, 89 women had responded. Now, most of them just want to meet one-on-one with Cherry. But there should be a few real prospects for us.”

To Eulalie, the sequel was simply icing on the cake. She knew that Charity, working under Darlene, would snag a few more moms. But Eulalie — and Chase too — were already well-satisfied with the film project.

Charity Devereaux and those other mothers were now fucking their sons on stage. Son-fucking had gone just about as far mainstream in Sausalito as it could go. The only growth area left was in the number of mothers that could be added to the column.

These days, not only was the entire town talking about the film, almost everyone had watched it multiple times. Little girls were coming of age knowing that when they had children ... well, fucking their sons was not only a viable option, but there would be little or no criticism to follow.
