Sara Dumas had spent Monday morning fucking Richie in front of those bayou people. She had spent Tuesday morning in Carole Landry’s bed.

Wednesday morning, Richie stopped by her house right after her kids left for the school bus. She was startled, but pleased, quite pleased.

Richie accepted a cup of chicory and sat there in her kitchen, completely relaxed.

Sara said, “Could I take a shower?”

“Of course, Mrs. Dumas. I’ll have another cup.”

He leaned back, his long legs crossed at the ankles, hands behind his head, “I want to get you started with Charlie. He’s going to be watching you dance on Saturday.”

“I know, I know.”

“Have you told him?”

“Not yet.” She blushed, feeling she’d somehow made a mistake.

“He’s a good kid, but you need to prepare him.”

“Okay. Yes, okay. Um, what should I do?”

“Tell him about Saturday — he’ll be pleased. And excited.”

Sara nodded, still red in the cheeks.

“Have you shown him your masturbation video?”

“Yes. Darlene told me to.”

Sara sighed. But she knew he was probably right. It was time. Maybe past time to clue him in.

But for the moment Richie had her thinking about Charlie. She and her son were getting along better than they had in years. And, no question, it all stemmed from Sara’s first meeting with Darlene.

Things started picking up between Charlie and Sara when she gave him that Do Not Disturb Sign. Then Darlene told her to show him her masturbation video.

She was down 14-pounds now. And worked out at the gym three days a week. She didn’t have a personal trainer, but one of the guys was paying a lot of attention to her.
