As Rémy drove away from Kitty’s, he was satisfied with the way the discussion had gone. He had no intention of sending Jared before a Juvenile Court judge. In fact, unlike most of his Mississippi fellow officers, he believed that legalizing drugs would cut down on a lot of related crimes.

But the minute he had busted Jared for the third time, he began thinking of Kitty. He’d known her all her life, and liked her, genuinely liked her. While he didn’t have a definite plan when he sat down in her kitchen that morning, he already had a pretty good sense that he could score.

Now Rémy wasn’t a cruel man, not by nature, not by his actions. But Kitty had flirted with him at parties a couple of times. And he still had fond memories of that naked little girl cheerfully sucking cock, often giggling at how excited those high school boys got.

But even though he had wanted Kitty for some time, he wouldn’t have forced the issue if she hadn’t volunteered herself.

And when he left — and she understood that he wanted her, but also something else — he detected in her a relaxing of tension, an awareness that somehow things could maybe work out.

He didn’t have anything specific in mind — in fact if she didn’t come up with anything in addition, he would probably just let it go. The other thing, not the pussy. That, he would enjoy no matter what.
