Pogo Possum was the brainchild of Walt Kelly who wrote a syndicated comic strip featuring the wee fuzzy fellow for years.
Pogo was a close observer of society and a lay psychologist who often made pithy commentary on the state of our society.
I picked up "Pogo" as a nickname in school ... and it stuck.
As Pogo said ... "I have seen the enemy, and he is US!"
