1: A Show of Reality by Bysshe First off, this story lists the Sex Contents as "Some Sex." In my opinion, it's no more than "Minimal Sex."
Second, I don't like or read SciFi. But I'm glad I read this one. I did skim the technical SciFi and physics stuff. That's not my cup of tea.
The story was exciting. I've been known to write thrillers, and this story kept me turning pages. However, if you're looking for a sex story (in this case a mind control sex story), it is not that.
It's well written, but could still use an editor. There are many sentences where words are omitted. And one common error was using "started" when he meant "stared." But none of that should keep you from reading the story.
There was one technical error that bothered me. I know very little about guns, but I did my research for my Lincoln Steele novels. It bothered me that he kept calling a magazine a clip. But if that's all that I could find wrong with his story, it must be pretty good. I gave it a 10.
The story is engaging and has great, descriptive sex scenes. The beginning is weird and end is very weak, but it's well written and has sort of a plot. It's more about characters than plot.
The story is an out-of-print novel so it has the "bknk" story code. Unfortunately these are only available to Premier members.
3: A Different Kind Of Family by bluedragon I don't usually give an SOL story a 10 for plot, but this one got it.
This isn't a normal read for me. In fact, I skimmed over some of the sex scenes because they were too vanilla (for me). But it was a great story.
I had some technical issues with the story, such as the author believing the hymen is inside the vagina, too many cliches, such as "rock hard," and too much purple prose. But all-in-all, it was well written and a great story.
There's a lot technically wrong with the way this story was written, and towards the end the author even mixed up characters' names, but it's an interesting story and hot.
5: Tiny Tim by Overconfident Sarcasm I loved this story until the last few chapters, but those chapters didn't keep me from listing it as a favorite. Although I read and write stories with sex, the sex in those latter chapters weakened the story.
6: Quinn and Kimberly Harris by Matt Moreau Don't go by this story's score. I gave it a 10 and, at the time of this writing, it's only 5.90
I don't know why the score is so low. Maybe it's because it's not a happy story (far from it). Maybe because it's listed as "some sex" when, in my opinion, it's "no sex" or at a minimum "minimal sex." Maybe because all the tags except "cheating" shouldn't be listed.
But it's a powerful, well-written, moving story. Couldn't stop reading.
