Don Lockwood

Asdman ๐Ÿšซ

Looking for authors similar to him, or more specifically stories that resemble his.

If you're looking something along the lines of "Dance of Lifetime", I'd recommend Jay Cantrell.

@lorenzo

The difference is that most of Jay's stories don't have the swinging/swapping/sharing/child sex that "Dance of a Lifetime".

@DBActive

Most of that was in minor points along the way. The only child sex I remember in that story was at the start, the swinging/swapping came later and had "consequences", the sharing being one of them.

I'd agree they were probably not the overarching themes of the story, but they are what stick in my mkind about the story. I remember an increasing dislike like of the main characters. Didn't they got their kids into sex play at very young ages.

The Don himself was a fan of Al Steiner's stories (for all I know, he might still be).

He used to have a Yahoo group, but it's gone now and I can't necessarily remember which other authors stories he liked, but you could look at Argon or Ryan Sylander.

Im not really into the whole swapping or that they are young. Just the romance and the way he writes. No kinky stuff just straight up vanilla :D

His first name used to be Frank. One of the older reviews on the site reveals this fact. He decided to change his name to a pen name when he realized the profession he was training for would make having him associated with writing "porn" difficult for him to succeed in that profession. Maybe when he retires he will change Don to his real name.

If you like love and romance then set aside some time and read this story. Be prepared, though, for a huge cast of characters being mixed and jumbled around the two principals over a span of several years. It's to Frank's everlasting credit that the characters are each unique enough that the number of characters doesn't cause confusion.

There's plenty of good stroke material here, it's just spread out over so much story that you can almost forget that it's there. Great characters, plot and prose leave me treating this more like a favorite long novel - I'll probably reread it 5 times in the next few years just because it's so much more fun to read than most of what's out there. (For all of that this isn't even my favorite of Frank's stories. That honor goes to either "Samantha's Secret" or "The Ghosts of Christmas Past")
