Looking for long finished stories

uberloots

I'm looking for some long single or multi-part stories that don't constantly revolve around the MC fucking. Some stories/authors I've read and enjoyed would be things like Lady in Red, The Grim Reaper, Deja Vu Ascendency(a bit too much fucking/power explanation but good), A Well Lived Life(preference to Book 2 where the MC isn't constantly fucking everything that walks, and authors like Dreamcloud and Jay Cantrell. I also enjoy Western themed stories. I've read a pretty sizeable chunk of stories so I'm sure there will be a couple recommendations of stories that I've already read but anything helps.

please define long in either words or kb. Most of what i write are novel length or longer (about 50,000 words or more). Most are no sex or minimal sex, while a few are much sex and are marked as such. Some, like Finding Home have sex in the early parts and then it fades out after it's done what I was using the sexual action to portray.

I can recommend The Millionaire Next Door as a no sex story. Most of the works by Refusenik, The Scot, Wes Boyd and DotB as well. Banadin's Rick Jackson series is good if you like a bit of tongue in cheek humor.

Banadin's Rick Jackson series

Please, it is the Richard Jackson series. Both 9th grade and 10th grade use the correct name. Only the summer vacation story uses the less formal Rick. Richard is the ideal name for a man. We all want to be Rich and hard. Nobody want to be Rickety.

Would you object more if it was referred to as the "Dick Jackson series" ?

Or heaven forbid, Dick Jacksoff series....?

Thanks for the suggestions, I must have overemphasized the lower amount of sex. It doesn't have to be no sex or even minimal, just my preference that it's not an over the top amount like a lot of the stories. The amount in Jay Cantrell's stories or even Lady in Red is just fine, there's a decent chunk, but the sex in those stories isn't the major focus of the stories.

If he lacks a male sexual organ, then perhaps it is ;)

A complement is something that completes (or tends in that direction) so he'd be a complete dick.

Robin by John Smith
On a three day pass Keith finds a town, a girl, and an adventure that changes his life forever. This story starts out rough, and may be hard to get through the first 15 or so chapters, then it starts getting better and better. So read it, you'll like it! For those who wanted me to update the codes, I did, yet couldn't include everything. Didn't want to as some parts add to the story, but are not a real part of it.

The John Carter Universe in its entirety is in excess of 12,000KB Written by Lazlo Zalezac

John Carter was the first Grand Druid of the Druid organization in a thousand years and founder of the Druid College. The stories in this universe describe his life, the lives of his family, the lives of other Druids, and the lives of those impacted by the Druids.

I will second a lot of Ernest's recommendations. These are some of my favorite long stories (including the previous posts).

Recluse and Ghost by Dual Writer
The Hawk and the Chipmunk by The Scot
People of the Tiger by Wayne Edward Clarke
Opus One by Ryan Sylander

Is Ma/mt a recurring theme in the story, or is it something that just happens once or twice?

@Shofan

It is not a recurring theme. spoiler alert It is in relation to an abusive relationship that is discovered and gets corrected. Ma/mt is not a theme I enjoy either but feel that it is done here in a way that fits the story without being squicky and is only a very small part of the overall story.

You are attempting to use logic on the Grinning Dick - an exercise in futility. The constant ringing of the bells on our self-appointed Jester's fools cap has addled his wits and he can no longer give a straight answer to any question. He does not even need to hear a question to provide an answer.

If I can't think of a pun or something amusing there usually isn't much I can contribute.

In the Land of Re there are some amusing instances. It started in High School when in Chemistry we were studying Redox Equations (something about reduction oxidation and getting electrons to balance.) Then we started talking about what kind of ships would tie up to Re Docks. My favorite was the Re Publican Party, made up of tavern owners and other business supporters whose major opponent was the Re Diculace Party, whose primary interest was who put their Dick where and when, something like gay liberation support. And was intended to appeal to the populace. Combines Dick and populace.

And electricians can Re place your Re fuse in your electric Re mains. If you have a landlord he probably insisted you have a Re lease. One of the currencies is the Re mark. If you study grammar you learn about Re nouns and Re verb eration.

I've started the story but haven't yet reached Chapter 16, from where it's supposed to be less yucky.

IMO the author has written for entertainment rather than accuracy, and in that respect has done a very good job.

The story badly needs a going-over by a competent proofreader. Virtually every sentence contains something contentious.

The story has sadly been shunned by the site's reviewers. If there were a list of stories reviewers should be cajoled into reviewing, I would add this one.

I'm ten chapters in and I'm enjoying the main plotline well enough, even if I found the inbred little town a little offputting. You're right that some editing is needed, though I've read worse!

It has been a while since I last read the story. I think even before I started doing reviews. I may have to reread it with the thought of reviewing it.

That said, it can be a bit squicky for some folks but the overall theme of coming together as a community to overcome some serious threats and conflicts is what I enjoyed most about the story. The 'community' does shift over time as all communities tend to do. It doesn't hurt that 1/4 of my family tree is firmly planted in Mennonite tradition.
