Genetically superior

Ronin ๐Ÿšซ

I am looking for stories where mc is genetically superior. I don't mind if he is naturally superior or artificially enhanced. I read a story where mc gets a serum from his friend and enhance himself. His friend invented the serum by himself and enhanced himself. But I am not able to find the story again after I forgot the name of the story. If you can recognize the above mentioned story please give the name. Thank u.

I can't help with the particular story, but RoustWriter's 'Arlene and Jeff' and Lumpy's Destiny Saga both feature genetically superior protagonists (Lumpy is one of the few SOL authors to have bothered my maximum 3 stars rating).

This is not a recommendation because I haven't read it but I came across:

https://storiesonline.net/s/36509/breeder.

It contains the phrase 'genetically superior' and its coded 'much sex'.

and its coded 'much sex'.

Without actually bothering to look at that story, a comment on that tag.

Several years ago Laz introduced the "Sex Contents" field. So far, so good. All existing stories were then marked as "Sex Contents: Much Sex" - working on the principles that authors would update that field if it did not apply and that a lot of the early stories here were basically Stroke anyway. Some did not bother to change the field, some more had moved on to pastures new or had left us altogether.
I can't remember when that field was introduced but be prepared for older "Much Sex" stories to not match the description.

FWIW, the story has 52 story codes, most of them sex-related. So I suspect that your concerns don't apply to the story ;)

Ah... The infamous "Jawking's Law" that states that any story with more than two lines of tags OR where the tags => the description. Beware..!!

I know I'm getting old and senile but I can't remember saying something that would justify such a law :(

There was a time when I ignored any story with 'Much Sex' or 'Stroke Story' until I found the same as you stated and discovered I missed good stories. I still ignore the stroke stories but the 'Much Sex' stories get a second look. The code is often incorrect or better said: up to the opinions of the authors, and those vary wildly. What is 'some' to one is 'much' to another so it's a vague guideline at best.

Yeah I already read the story. Actually this is the story that actually got to get interested in this genetically superior stuff

Rachel Ross is unfortunately deceased, and her stories are no longer available here,[Not true-result of a faulty search argument] but she had a story named 'Twenty-five Pairs" about a girl who had been genetically enhanced before birth. A very good story with a very sad ending, if you can find a copy elsewhere, or someone who has one.

I did an author search, but I miss-spelled Rachael-I spelled it Rachel. Please excuse my red face, it will go away soon!

I did go to her webpage, and 25 Pairs has an additional chapter in the version there.

Refusenik's Human Phoenix fits the genetically superior MC story line. It's not apparent until chapter 9 or so but it's such a great story you should not miss it. Some of the 'powers' the MC has can not be found in any other story I know of.

Author: Refusenik

Story: Human Phoenix

LonelyDad ๐Ÿšซ

But his 'powers' are not really genetic. They are the result of an alien implant that was designed to allow them to monitor his actions and growth. But it was a general purpose implant, and when circumstances caused it to reset, the 'power' manifested themselves. This all comes out near the end of 'Human Man', the sequel to 'Human Phoenix'

I'm currently rereading Human Phoenix. I don't remember those specifics and there is only a vague hint at aliens in Human Phoenix so far. Maybe his powers go a little too far to be superior genetics. Still a very good read.

In Human Phoenix his powers come from the nanobots the aliens put in him to reconstruct his body. They don't make him super powerful per se, but they do repair damage very quickly and allow him to control certain functions beyond what is normal. The info about the aliens and the control unit comes out very late in the story.

In the 21st century its best not to claim you have a digital photographic memory, it'll come back to byte you eventually.
