Semiliterate reader ISO a good read; maybe something from the distaff side. Say, a female PI? Perhaps bi to add a little spice to the stew? Do blondes have more fun?

You might like some of carniegirl's stories, including Deputy Porter and Sheriff Porter.

I think there's some stories out there about a woman named Winter Jennings ...
Pretty good read, but completely unrealistic viewpoint on politics by the main character. (Okay, I may have said that last just to poke the bear.)
Thank you!
Am really enjoying the Winter Jennings series. What a talented writer. Although I'm not sure Winter's politics are known. Not yet anyway.
...enjoying the Winter Jennings series ...
Oh Yea !!!
We are enjoying them too *(stories from Winter's universe)
Please, pretty please, can we get some more !
Look up WineMaker's page (https://storiesonline.net/a/Wine_Maker), particularly Finding Elvis and The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Great reads, the MC is a homicide detective with mostly lesbian leanings who is pregnant from a one nighter with a couple she befriends.
A challenge for those who read The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Several characters in that story have names that are based on the pen names used by authors that were active in a yahoo group Wine Maker was a part of at the time he was writing the story and the changed names were used by permission.
