Can anybody recommend great 1st person female stories?
Most if not all of Oyster50's stories are first person, both male and female, and all are worth reading.
All of Janna Leonard's stories.
Letoria's 'Hockey Sticks and Roses'
JT Malone's 'A Benign Something'
Also some of Holly Rennick's stories - particularly 'Cabo San Lucas' and 'Humping with Howdy'.
Gina Marie Wylie's 'Kate and Lynn'
I suppose you could say that most of The Nighthawk's 'Once More with Feelings' fits, though the fit is a little strange.
Ahaz's 'What are we Waiting for'. 'I Need to Remember' is currently unfinished in this time through (it was finished then taken down at some point) and it is also a little strange but it fits.
https://storiesonline.net/universe/380/bec-lost-in-the-maze is a classic.
https://storiesonline.net/series/246/tales-of-bridget needed a proofreader but still works well.
https://storiesonline.net/a/PennLady stories are - like oyster50's - written from M and F viewpoints.
https://storiesonline.net/a/Wylde_Flowers wrote a few short stories. Two of them are about a rape and its aftermath and are pretty dark. I suspect she is speaking from experience.
The General by Girl Friday
Some early work by Gina Marie Wylie are also 1st Person point of view like Kate and Lyn, Laura Alban Hunt (incomplete)
Heinlein โ as always:
"Podkayne of Mars"
"Friday"
"To Sail Beyond the Sunset"
"The Number of the Beast" (chapters told by Deety, Hilda, Zeb or Jacob)
HM.
Are those on SOL? Author's name?
I suddenly feel disappointed...

Getting Away by Sam177.
Warning: incomplete since 8/4/2010; aside from the fact that she hasn't posted any stories since October of 2010, the story had a completely unexpected change of setting in the last couple of chapters which basically makes everything which came before completely irrelevant.
That said, up until the final chapters it's an incredibly good story. It hasn't gone premier, as she does keep logging in; her last blog post was on January 2, 2017.
A number of her other stories are also first person, and all of her MCs are female. Some are a triffle odd, but all are well written.

Off topic, but after how long inactivity does stories go into premier?
It isn't based on inactivity of the story but on how long since the author logged in. 5 years, I believe.

Typically, that means either they died five years ago, or that's when they got involved with an aggressively religious partner who 'doesn't approve' of their writing 'disgusting porn'.
The really sad thing about that is, in the cases I'm aware of, it was actually quite well written and very thoughtful stuff.
Artie and Cup o' Soup are the two who spring to mind. Both over at ASSTR. Both pulled everything with very little notice.
Neither of them wrote what I would consider porn. And it certainly wasn't disgusting!
Artie and Cup o' Soup are the two who spring to mind. Both over at ASSTR. Both pulled everything with very little notice.
I am not familiar with Cup o'Soup, but Artie had written of his reasons and they had little to do with any religious partner. And, he gave plenty of notice.
As I recollect in regard to Artie, it did have to do with a significant other who disapproved of what he had written.
While it may not have been due to religious views, it still had the definite sub-text of "make this go away or I'm leaving." Which is something which makes me question just how healthy that relationship was.
But, yes, he did give a couple of weeks head's up that they were being pulled. Which gave Greenberg a chance to echo the contents. Of course, Greenberg's site went down late last year... But, both were archived by the Wayback Machine, in varying degrees of completeness.
In the case of Cup o'Soup, there was definitely an ultimatum laid down. And no warning prior to the stories being pulled, it was a case of having to do it immediately due to how the ultimatum was presented.
In that case, Thinking Horndog was able to surreptitiously, under a different but somewhat related nym, keep Cup o'Soup's Swarm Universe stories up, with Cup o'Soup's permission.
And, again, his ASSTR page was archived by the Wayback Machine. So it is possible get most of his stuff from there.
At least, that's my recollection. It's been many years, and all of my files from that time period were lost in a system crash. So I could be in error. It's happened before.
I managed to vacuum about 400 html files before Artie pulled them, but haven't taken the time to look them over yet.

If the stories is archived under another "author" name, you have an almost impossible task to find the stories.
You can try your luck here: https://web.archive.org/web/20130530112232/http://www.asstr.org:80/~Thinkers_tales/Stories/The_Swarm/Swarm_main.html
There are no cup o'soups swarm stories in that link it needs to be in the way back search and i can not find it
cup o'soups swarm stories
"One of our most prolific contributors put an end to his writing career for personal reasons -- but I was given permission in a roundabout way to present his stories again, without their previous attribution. Some of you may know who this fellow is -- but officially, we're referring to him as "Just Jack"...
The Stories:
A Little Pick-Me-Up
Taut Lessons
Past Over
Control Rods
Glowing Recommendations
Track or Treat
Sliding Into Home
Bonding? Or Bondage?
Morning Erudition
Sacking
Insight Out
Chemistry
A Little Horse
Hot Time in the City
Cattle Call
Hop... no, Hope To It
Grind Forces
Crews Chip
Popping a CAP"
So "Just Jack" and his stories are what you are looking for.
I can only find the first story in your list can you please post a link to all of those stories

As I recollect in regard to Artie, it did have to do with a significant other who disapproved of what he had written.
Absolutely not.
He had a mild stroke in mid-June 2011. Initially he resumed writing in August of that year but on October 8 he posted two chapters of Open Clinic and then - hours later - announced he was going to pull his entire site. The following text is one line from that announcement, saying why:
Lots of reasons, many of them personal, but among them: I'm getting old, I'm running out of time, I have more important things I need to do with what little time I have, some parts aren't fun anymore, I'm not sure who I'm writing for, and a bunch of shit like that.
Those two new chapters changed the direction of the story and I wondered if someone had been moaning at him. The above line was on http://www.asstr.org/~artie/index.html from around 9-October to early 2012. I suppose the wayback machine has the entire thing but can't be bothered looking because I have it anyway.
I'm surprised no one mentioned Puff Dragon or Paige Hawthorne. Puff is an EWO,flying in a BUFF. Paige is a modern day P.I. writing in a style like old gumshoe tales.
There was a story about the last strategic bombers left after war broke ou6 with I believe the USSR.
Can someone please post a link to cup o'soups swarm stories in wayback machine for me as i am a swarm addict i love those stories and would love to see more...
BarBar's "Bec", all three stories. But don't expect any sex - the MC is about thirteen years old. But it's a good read.
'Geraldine' by Dual Writer is a very good female first person story.
