Here there is Jake White by Aurora, and offline there is the AubreyβMaturin series of books by Patrick O'Brian and the Horatio Hornblower series by C. S. Forester.
I'd swear there was another Royal Navy story on here, but it escapes me if there is.
https://storiesonline.net/s/52841/cast-adrift (by Marsh Alien) is about the historical Royal Navy, specifically the war of 1812. It is premier-only nowadays. It is also part of the "Hunter Family Universe" but the rest of the stories there have (afaik) nothing at all to do with the Navy.
Argon's stories were inspired by those of C S Forester and I can't imagine that there is anything else like them on this site.
What we will have here - and elsewhere - is various "Universes" where there are stories linked to each other. Wes Boyd's stories spring to mind, although most of them are only on his site (and on GMW's, but only a subset of the whole).
Here is a list of Authors I've collected over the years.
Alaric Bond - Fighting Sail series - 15 books
Alexander Kent - Richard Bolitho series - 30 books
C. Northcote Parkinson - Delancey series - 6 books
C. S. Forester - Hornblower series - 11 books
David Donachie - Privateersman Mysteries - 6 books
- John Pearce - 18 books
Dudley Pope - Ramage series - 18 books
- Yorke series 4 books
Julian Stockwin - Thomas Kydd - series - 27 books
Kenneth Maynard - Lamb series - 4 books
Dewey Lambdin - Alan Lewrie series - 25 books
Patric O'Brian - Aubrey Maturin - 21 books
Richard Woodman - Drinkwater series - 14 books
There is also a site called Historic Naval Fiction which has a comprehensive list of Authors.
I highly recommend Parkinson's books. He was a trained naval historian who also authored a fictional biography of Horatio Hornblower.
There is also the C.S.Forester Society website with links to Hornblower fanfic. https://csforester.wordpress.com/
Thanks for the info Argon.
Love your books.
Could you tell me is there going to be anything further about Will Potter?
Will Potter appeared as a minor character in the most recent "Ellen (Trilby)" rewrite.
This was when Ellen, Richard and his parents were in Egypt on their way back from India and the chapter was titled "The Overland Route".
Dinsdale already pointed out Lady Lambert's Adventures, but Will also features in t he revised version of The year Without Summer at Bookapy. Thomas Grey buys up surplus Navy provisions, and in the new version, the acting commissioner, Portsmouth, with whom Thomas negotiates, is Mister Potter.
Give me a few days to replace the SOL chapters with the new material.
Another author covering seafaring themes was Mister Rafael Sabatini, who wrote Captain Blood, The Sea Hawk, and many more tales, mostly set in the 17th century. All his works are accessible at Project Gutenberg.
There is also A. Howden Smith with Portobello Gold, the prequel for Treasure Island.
A quizword clue reminded me of 'The Cruel Sea' by Nicholas Monsarrat (dead tree). I vaguely remember a sequel too.

British author Douglas Reeman, who also used the pseudonym Alexander Kent, was a British author who wrote 68 historical novels about the Royal Navy, mainly set during either World War II or the Napoleonic Wars (under the pseudonym Alexander Kent). I don't know if all are still in print, but they turn up regularly in second hand bookshops.
I don't know if I read them all, but in my younger days I read several of his Alexander Kent books.
If you are interested in a listing of his books in order:

They shouldn't be too hard to find.
35 of the Reeman/Kent books are available in my public library as e-Books. I've seen many on line as used books.
