If you don't mind a few elfs and orcs, Mack the Knife wrote Primus Pilum. He did not post anything new for 18 years, and what he wrote is Premium Content.
His "Murder Isle" was a great story, but he wrote himself into a corner and then pretty much stopped writing altogether.
He then wrote a short story 10 years ago (The Changing of the Guard) and started a new story a year later (Wolves' Teeth).
