Widower stories?

mrfriendly8181 ๐Ÿšซ

Stories where the MMC's SO died and they are trying to move on? They don't have to be married, just someone who died.
Also no harem and no incest.

Two immediately come to mind:
1. Man's wife is killed by a runaway vehicle at the courthouse. He travels to Disney world with his preteen daughter and friend and his daughter. A stewardess befriends the daughter when her first period starts during the flight. Romance ensues.
2. Man's wife dies. He takes his teen daughter to Hawaii to he get over their loss. He is injured saving a pedestrian from a runaway truck, and a famous model who is getting burned out on modeling agrees to watch over his daughter while he is in the hospital.

Check Lazlong's "Best Friends". It may be what you are wanting. Unfortunately it is premier.

WTSman's 'Wet' is one of my favorite short stories here:

A little different in that it's a widow, but a sweet story about finally moving one, JT Malone's 'A Benign Something':

Tony Stevens' 'Long Reliever' (premier):

It's been a while since I read Wes Boyd's 'Cattail', but I believe that's the starting point for the plot, and his stuff is always good:
