My Library / Active serials - not showing latest updates. Only for me?

Reader4fun ๐Ÿšซ

I use the ML / AS page to look at all the stories that I have bookmarked and also to see which have had new chapters added.

This has worked for as log as I can remember but for the last few days it seems to have stopped working or changed how it works.

Now I don't see a story on the ML / AS page (at all) which has been showing before.
And adding another one today does also not show it in the list.

Based on the dates of the updates / postings of the stories it seems like June 10th is a dividing date for this.

The stories do show up in my reading queue page.

Has anyone else also found this behavior?

The library hasn't changed in a long time, and definitely nothing changed in the last 3 days.

Maybe your active serials list is stuck in your browser's cache and not being fetched from the site.

Try clearing your browser's cache and see if that fixes it.

If it doesn't fix it, then try to see if you somehow unchecked the 'Show in Active Serials List' for the story in question. Click the pencil next to the story to view the bookmark's settings.

Out of curiosity, why are stories completed in 2019 in the Active Serials list?

In my experience they will stay in the active serials list until you actually access the final chapter. So if you stopped reading the story it will stay in the active serials list.

Correct.

This is the behavior for the story which I raised this topic.

The reason is that the author said that a book 2 will be posted in a month(s) time.
But since he has marked this story as final my way to get a notification of the new book is to follow the author - which I've done now.

Thanks for the feedback all informing on how this works.

I don't know if this relates to the story you had an issue with, but I noticed a recent story on the Removed List had a notation of Posted too soon. It was an entry into one of the Event story lists posted before the Event was opened for entries. Thus it would've come up on the author's list, then be removed, and would later be reposted within the Event list and probably with a different file number. That would explain why it appeared then disappeared.
