After clicking 'More' next to "Random story from the archives" on the home page, I noticed one of the 10 stories supplied was very recent. I vaguely remembered Lazeez announcing a change to stop very recent stories being the home page's random story and I used the Search Forum Posts facility to look for it.
When I searched on random story, I got 207 hits, but many didn't have the words random and story consecutively. So I tried again with "random story" in double quotes. That reduced the hits to 50. Until I selected to go to page 2 of the search results, when it became 207 again. Oopsie.
And I still haven't found Lazeez's announcement :(
