The archives go back to March 17, 2019.

From my observations,"Random story from the archives" (RSA) are generated each two hours drawn randomly from all complete stories that have not been removed, with timing of selection not synchronised across the three sites. I remember seeing once (most probably on FS or SFS when there were fewer stories) an RSA which appeared on the stream for that site directly above the final post for the same story; there was no point in flagging this up, though, as it self-corrects on the next RSA.
