Display of Last Read date info

warlogae ๐Ÿšซ

Having been a premium reader for a while, I have accumulated a few pages in my history. Also being a bit forgetful I sometimes forget that I have read a story or when. Searching through many pages of history listings is a pain.
What are the chances of getting a "Last Read : dd MMM YYYY" kinda tag on the description page of a story?
Where stories were read before you started collecting that stat, i.e. prior to Dec 2009, you could just put " ages ago!" Or the like.

It's already done. I've a Premier Membership and one of the services I get with it is exactly that information. On the Home page is near the op left corner is a link with my name and today's number of stories read out or what I can read - so it currently reads Ernest Bywater 0/100 - when I click on that it shows my Today's Access page with a list of all the stories I've read or opened today and a linked labelled History - click on that and you get a long list of stories going back for, in my case, 954 stories. The ones I've clicked on a page of the story since go back to June 2007 have the date I read the stories beside them - all 690 of them, the other ones have no date, but are ones where I've looked at the cover page with the chapter list but not accessed a page of the story itself. Confirmed by checking one of them out, and since it was written in 2013 and later in the list than 2007, it's clear the undated list is where I went to the story but not a page of the story - when I clicked on chapter one of a story in changed position and added a date.

Oh, I know about the History list and I have been a Premier Member for many years. Good to know that the undated entries are the "had a look, but didn't read" entries.

What I would like is that information as part of the front page of a story or chapter. I know on the right hand side of the page is the publishing information such as Posted and Last Updated. What I would like is similar but reader focused, on the left side of the page to show Last Read or Last Accessed dates. I find it slightly disruptive to trawl through 30+ pages of history looking for the last time you read the story. I have about 1200 out of 3000 with dates and I just thought I would ask for an easy update to the page template.

I don't know about the DB behind the site, so while the page template is easy to update, the DB query might be too difficult to bother with. But you you never get if you don't ask :-)

I doubt what you ask for will happen due to the extensive amount of coding to do it, and processing time it will take to deliver it would be horrendous. So it would be a major cost to provide.

However, it may be possible for Lazeez to add code to allow you to sort the History list alphabetically by name, and then you can look for the story by name.

Searching through many pages of history listings is a pain.

This may not be what you want, but when you open a list of stories you will see a green dot to the left of the story title if you haven't accessed the story. The green dot changes to a small circle with gray fill that contains a smaller black circle with no fill once you accessed the story.

Those who use the Firefox browser can go to History-Show All History and paste the story title into the search box. It will bring up every time you accessed the story. Of course if you delete your browsing history as I do on occasion it won't help.
