I was looking for the post that contained "pre-Civil-War" so I entered that in the search. It didn't find it. It found two others.
One had Civil War in it (without the hyphen).
The other one was even weirder. It had Cold War and pre-trained. So I guess it found "War" (even though it wasn't Civil War) and "pre-" (even though it wasn't pre-Civil).
But it never found the post with the exact match.
Could it have been in a deleted thread, or one that is no longer in the archive?
Nope. I found it by searching through recent threads and then doing a Mac cmd/f looking for "pre-" in each one until I found it.
The reason I'm reporting it is because the word "War" was in the search and the post, yet it wasn't shown to me in the results. Nor was "pre-" or "pre-Civil-War".
Maybe the post was too new. Maybe the search doesn't search new/active/not archived (?) posts.

The forum gets indexed once per day at 12:30am EST/EDT. If an entry was posted today, then it can't be found by the search engine.
