I had two pages of entries in this display, 20 stories in the first page and one in the second.
The story in the second page is a new one by an author I follow, but part of a series I have never got around to reading. I deleted that entry from my library.
With the second page now empty, https://storiesonline.net/library/my.php?list=q&skip=20 shows no stories (correctly) but no backward link to get back to page 1.
Obviously I have a couple of options here
- removing the "&skip=20" from the url worked.
- clicking on "My Library" near the top also works.

Am I asking for too much luxury?
(backward link, or repositioning to the first page if the second page is moot)

What you described sounds like an oversight or bug. Lazeez will undoubtedly address the issue.

I do have a question. I think you have a Premier Membership paid for or earned via your writing, or both. A Premier Membership allows you to set the number of bookmarks per page for your library. So why haven't you increased your per page limit?

I set mine to 100 bookmarks/page. It is rare for me to go to page 2.

That setting makes sense for my Android phone - and maybe my laptop - even though I use my PC most of the time.
I was thinking about this a bit more after having posted and remembered that one person had a few thousand entries in his library (something like every story he had ever read). He probably does not prune entries the way I do but he would probably be somewhat displeased if he deleted the sole entry on page 198 and was faced with some major repositioning to get to the new last page.

I don't recall reading that. If IRC, prior to Covid the maximum number of Library bookmarks was 100.

The bug has been fixed, but it will be deployed as part of a much broader upcoming update.

I'm working on adding a new Theme, more modern than the Modern one. As usual, it will be opt-in for existing users and the default for new users.

Due to how extensive the changes are, existing themes needed to be updated too. Some pages, like the library and the submission wizard have been redesigned from the ground up so that they don't need a custom stylesheet to look the way they do.

When that update is deployed, I would need everybody's help in reporting visual bugs in the new theme and the existing themes as there is no way for me to test every page with every available theme.
