I've not seen it, but is there a way to search 'mail' other than to just read each message very quickly?
I ask as I was trying to find and respond to a question I'd received in another message and didn't want to go through a dozen pages of messages.
Good question. I've sometimes hit the same problem, usually in connection with an issue a reader once raised with one of my stories.

I don't recall when, but I remember Lazeez responding to a question about the capabilities of SOL's email program. He said it was his intent to provide a barebones email program that provided the basic communication abilities without all the bells and whistles of a complete email program.
I suspect a search capability would be one of the capabilities that was omitted.

There's a filter by pen name if that helps.
On this occasion it wouldn't have as I couldn't remember the sender only the snippet of text I was looking for.
I also noticed a refresh bug on the page but I need to see if I can trigger it again before I understand the exact chain of events that cause it.
