For some odd reason a comment in another thread about a Prom Queen caused me to have an idea for a story. I'm too busy to do anything with it for some time, and it's not really a story I'd normally do, so I'm tossing it out into the arena for people to do with as they may. Heck, it may already have been done by someone and I not know it.
For you to understand why the thought you have to realise I'm an Australian in their mid 60s and down here the term Queen was a slang word used to refer to homosexual males, especially effeminate looking ones, until a decade or two back.
Anyway, my stray thought was about having a Prom Queen who was a Queen in the Aussie slang usage meaning. That leaves a lot of room for an author to play with, so go for it with my blessing.
