Boy passes into alternate earth where girls are the ones who are always horny

Teenage boy. Athletic, good looking, smart, and of course always horny. Please, please, no huge cocks or I won't read it. He unknowingly passes through a portal into an alternate earth where the sex drives of the genders are reversed. It's not a female dominated culture; it's just that teenage boys aren't as interested in sex as the girls (and women) are. The girls are always horny, but even if they do manage to seduce a guy, once a night is the best the boy can do. Except, of course, for our always horny protagonist with the recovery ability teen boys have on this earth. I'd prefer that he be a slut rather than have a harem, but that's just me.

She may have written something like this. However, considering the forum section it's in and the poster, I think they're suggesting a plot line for someone else to write a story based on their idea.

Correct, Ernest. It's a suggestion for authors searching for ideas. Although I'd be thrilled if someone could point me to an existing story.

To make it slightly more believable, I'd have the males being the ones who carry the babies like sea horses. That would justify the males' lack of enthusiasm, since human males lose little little independence with the birth of a child in most cases. With this scenario, it would make logical sense that women would be less concerned with the repercussions if they simply dropped an egg and went on their merry way the way men drop sperm.

There's actually some decent evidence that women are biologically more interested in having multiple sexual partners than men are, at least prior to fertilisation. The logic goes like this:

Women want their baby to have the best chance of survival, so that means being impregnated by the "best" male, by whatever definition of best that you use. Having sex with multiple partners means that, statistically, the healthiest sperm will tend to win (statistically as in any given baby could be from a weaker male with fast sperm, or whatever, but over generations the healthiest men are the ones who will survive to adulthood). Men, on the other hand, have no way to be sure that they have successfully passed on their genetics except by making sure that any women they have sex with doesn't have sex with anyone else.

As for the horniness, there's a much easier solution to the problem than having to change how pregnancy works. Men are horniest when young because that's the period of maximum fertility. Ages 14 - 19 are also the period of maximum fertility for women (that's why so many guys like teens), but most aren't yet ready for healthy pregnancy. Current research suggests that one of the big triggers for female puberty is body fat: a woman with extra fat can better support a baby even if she she isn't getting enough food herself. As for female horniness, the reason that women tend to become hornier in their thirties is because they're getting closer to the end of their fertility, so they need to get pregnant NOW.

So the solution to the problem is this: make it so that a woman's fertile period is shorter, possibly lasting only a few years, and at the same time lower men's sexual drive. Both effects could probably be done with fairly minor shifts in hormone levels, as long as the society lacks the medical knowledge to correct the issue. Say, something in the environment which causes a change but hasn't yet been identified, a plague which caused a genetically passed trait which screws up hormone production, etc.

Sorry, but this kind of backward logic concerning genetics has always annoyed me. No one, neither snake, bird or human, has even thought "Hmm, how can I produce the strongest offspring to help advance the species?"

People (and presumably animals) deal with physical attraction. Sure, a couple here and there might be attracted to some monkey's mind, but that doesn't occur often enough to be statistically relevant. Genetics doesn't work through the force of logic, instead it works on a primal level and the species either survives or it doesn't, not due to any plan by the animals in question.

That said, they've done studies of many animal species, and 'cheating' in almost universal in the animal kingdom, with females cheating as much, if not more, than males. By the way, rape and homosexuality are perfectly natural and occurs throughout the animal kingdom, as anyone who's ever spent much time on a farm can attest. (My family raised hunting dogs, and we had more than our share of lesbian bitches!) Again, those dogs don't care whether it'll produce strong and rich children, they act on instinct.

As for increasing the quality of the human race, I only have on suggestion: ban all politicians (and bureaucrats) from ever having sex! (There's no need to stop nerds or authors, nerds don't get the chance, while authors are too busy writing in their basements to ever encounter other human beings for long.) 'D

Crumbly, I'm not saying that women thought about having the healthiest sperm, but that phrasing is a lot easier that what would actually be correct. Unless everyone here has actually studied genetics and anthropology at a graduate level, I'd have to spend about five pages explaining what the word "wanted" means. Instead, I used casual terminology to explain a very complex subject. I tried to avoid saying anything that is outright wrong, it's just highly simplified, and therefore sloppy, language.

By the way, rape and homosexuality are perfectly natural and occurs throughout the animal kingdom, as anyone who's ever spent much time on a farm can attest.

Technically, "rape" means "unlawful sexual contact". More casually, it means "non-consensual sexual contact". By the first definition, no animal sex would be rape unless there were a specific law against it; by the second definition all animal sex would be rape because an animal cannot give informed consent. Thus, the idea of animal rape is basically meaningless; applying modern human value systems to animals doesn't work.

For animal homosexuality I'd have to look into the subject more, but I think that would fall under the same problem. Homosexuality is about a desire for members of the same sex; when animals engage in same-sex sexual contact it is generally about availability.

I can't recall the psychological term for this off-hand, but it's similar to situations of prison and military rape. Few people involved are actually homosexual, and in some cases it isn't even necessarily a power issue, it's just that everyone needs a sexual release occasionally and uses whatever is available.

Thus, the idea of animal rape is basically meaningless; applying modern human value systems to animals doesn't work.

Actually, there have been some observational studies of apes/monkeys in the wild which demonstrate they use rape as a form of social control (punishing a female not in heat to keep her from distrubing the established social order). If that doesn't qualify as rape, then I don't know what does.

As for animals humping whatever is nearest, I've seen few cases of that. In most cases I've observed of animal homosexuality, a specific animal only makes advances on same sex partners, generally avoiding the opposite sex except during periods of heat. (In one case, back when we raised hunting dogs, we had one we bred who spent all her time chasing other bitches.)

Again, rape is rarely about opportunity as much as it's about 1) dominance and 2) situational opportunity (where an otherwise 'good' or 'straight' person decides, within a particular situation, that it's acceptable for them to break the law. This has been shown in multiple studies dating back to the 50s, but in most cases, the researchers refuse to take their data seriously, instead questioning their methodologies rather than questioning their assumptions about a person's 'core beliefs' (i.e. people are only 'good' or 'evil' based on social cues instead of their inherent character, like the case of honor students cheating on subjects they don't like, or criminals being upstanding family men, morals change based on context all the time, certainly more often than 'bad people do bad things' and 'good people always do good things').

I've long maintained that rape is highly socially viable (i.e. each society establishes certain rules for when rape is a socially acceptable option (generally defined by alcohol consumption). In some countries, rape and sexual advances are generally accepted, while those not accepted while inbibing aren't practiced.

Except for it not being a female dominated society, I would think he ended up on Cassandra, which is in the DID Universe.

You said you didn't want really big dicks. How about in the story the guy is tired of being around the guys in the locker room showers who have really big dicks and after the guy finds himself in the different world the girls or at least most girls prefer his size than the ones that some call hung like a horse.

Also would this alternate world be an alternate reality where there are the same people but with different ways of thinking? Let's say this for example, in his normal world he has a sister who is shy and kind of afraid of guys when they show any sexual interest in her. But in the alternate world his sister really likes having sex with guys. And no I'm not trying to suggest any incest happens. Unless you'd like that kind of thing.
