Starting Small by Lazlong. His Love and Hate is similar but is about a new hire engineering supervisor.

Damn! Premier only :(
Wow, how time flies. I honestly hadn't realized it had been this long since Lazlong last posted anything.
He last made use of this site on 15 July 2015 (that was in a forum post by Lazeez) and his stories went Premier 5 years later. He last posted a chapter of anything years earlier, as one can see.

Lazeez introduced this forum on August 24, 2015 so I assume there was a previous forum before this where that post was made?

I took that to mean Lazeez posted the date and time of Lazlong's last use of this site. It's the sort of info only management would have access to.

Thank you! We might have to add that info to Lazlong's Contributer Page on ReaderInfo.

You are correct, and it appears my notes are corrupted. I had recorded "15 July 2015" but that first "15" also referred to the year, I did wonder about that when I posted it.
ETA: Unless I inferred it from the day his stories went Premier, I know I was looking out for that happening so it may well be the case.

Yes. I believe it was a third party platform back in the day, before Laz decided to implement one that he could host.
Yes, google groups I believe or whatever their product goes by. Damn I am getting CRS real bad as those names slip away...
Wasn't sure if it was google or yahoo.
Yahoo groups is being shut down. IIRC they had already been reduced virtually to mailing lists, with the file-sharing etc shut down.

It was https://groups.google.com/group/storiesonline and nowadays it wants you to supply a Google-Id to access it. I think the old posts are still there but can't be bothered to actually log in and check.
(Bookmarks trump CRS!)
There are 4968 postings on the site. They don't seem to be all that interesting to me. However one of our frequent contributors and an author from Australia used the pen name "Deadly Ernest" which is worth remembering.

I wonder if there is any relation to the Earnest here who is located near dihydrogenmonoxide.

The name is Ernest - earnest is an adverb.
The nickname I've had since the mid to late 1960s is Deadly Ernest, after a local TV host for late night horror films. I used it on the net for decades, as well as my real name. With SoL I use my author account which uses my real name. On the old Google forum I used my nickname, the same as I did in many other forums and places. A few years back I stopped trying to remember what I used where and just used my real name as it was less trouble to remember.
typo edit.

You must not have seen any of the posts from rache, then.

Must have been CRS but after the comments I now remember it was a Yahoo group. I only visited it back then when there was a problem with SOL.
