Looking for a story that was on here not terribly long ago (within the last year or so?) that was a twist on the classic "son breaks both arms and mother helps him" but with father/daughter instead where the daughter broke her arms. Also mother either knows about it or finds out and isn't mad. Can't remember the title or author and that kind of story is pretty common so search isn't really helping me especially without premium to see more results.

Thanks Switch Blayde but I found it somehow. The daughter had broken her wrists not her arms so that's why I couldn't find it at first.

There is a ad on TV that starts with a dad telling his daughter he was sorry he missed her event. Later it shows them loading a kayak into a van and she is in a wheelchair then shows them camping at the side of a river with no mom in sight. The first thing that goes through my mind is there is a incest story waiting to be written.
