Hey folks,
Think I asked this in the wrong place the other day. Maybe? Anyway, is Stangstar still with us? Is he still writing? He seemed so prolific and now there's been nothing for a year. He's not on the other site at all it seems. Any news?

He's not on the list of inactive contributers, but there is usually a lag with that list.
Just feels rather sudden (? Sort of?) I mean going from writing or posting so frequently and then nothing. And the list doesn't tell us anything beyond the last time he posted.
Thank you.

Contributors are only listed after 2 years of absence. StangStar06's last post was on February 4, 2021 so it will take about another year before he can be listed.
But if his last post was in February 2021, and now we have June 2024... that's more than three years of absence. So, if they can be listed after two years, why would we have to wait another year?
...and the presence of the email link in an author page shows they have visited the site within he last year.
We pretty much knew he'd been here within the last year anyway, his most recent story submission was 368 days before this thread was opened. I wonder if the script to remove email links runs daily or weekly.
I like most of Stangstar's stories, in spite of them being fairly similar, and I would be sorry to find out he had left us
Taking of that. I fear for Tony Tiger. His last blog a year ago said he was going into a hospice and not many people come out of a hospice alive. 710 stories and the last one from 02/2021 does not make me hopeful. RIP.

Does anyone have any information on the status of author Stangstar06 ? I always enjoyed his stories. Some of them like "8 Mile" are outright classics. Any information would be appreciated. Hope he is well.
The email link is still active. The email link is automatically removed one year after the last login or similar activity on this site.
