LA Fun by Dual Writer

Eldof ๐Ÿšซ

Hey everyone.
I was browsing through "Popular Stories" and am considering reading LA Fun by Dual Writer.
However, the blurb and the tags doesn't tell me all that much of what to expect. I've loved some of Dual Writers stories, but I've absolutely hated some of them so I figured I'd ask here first what to expect.

I loved Oh Boy! and the stories about Steve in Florida Friends. I hated the first few stories about Chuck, didn't like the later stories about Chuck, and didn't like Bare Assets.

The stories were all solid (except for Bare Assets in my opinion, too much focus on the sex), what made me dislike the stories were mostly because of the sex/swinging. Well not the sex or swinging in itself, but rather the way it was approached. Like I said, I loved the stories about Steve. When it's just between close friends, and something everyone really want to do, I don't have any problems with it. However, there's few things in erotica I hate more than casual swinging/sharing of partners (i.e swinging parties with strangers etc) or like in the early stories about Chuck when he's with Bobby. Chuck isn't all that sure about it, and is more interested in a meaningful relationship with Bobby, while she's all for sex with anyone.
If both partners aren't 100% sure and comfortable with the sharing, I will probably hate the story as I don't like that anxiety and drama involved.

As I understand it, LA Fun isn't related to any of Dual Writers other work, but do you think I'm likely to enjoy it with all I pointed out above?

There really isn't any swinging per se in the story. The main characters do form a triad, and once in a while invite someone else in for a session, but no indiscriminate swinging occurs.

I like the story for the inside look at how a realty works, although, like S&S, things just seem to happen too easily ;sometimes.

@Eldof

I enjoyed the first portion of the story, but for reasons I don't recall, I stopped reading it.

@REP

I stopped reading it.

Maybe because until recently, it hadn't been updated in quite a while?

I had removed the story from my library, so I suspect there was a different reason. If the story had the yellow stripe, I would have deleted it from the library; but as I said, I don't recall why.

It's okay, but the story you should read is "Recluse and Ghosts". Really good story by Dualwriter

Hard to say.. I think LAFun is more 'Steve' category, as far as the 'women collecting'.
Nontheless I quit reading it after about 8 chapters because it just seemed to wear out. That was on ME, not DW. That doesnt mean it's not worth reading, it's FUN. When it's not fun anymore, you move on.. you dont bitch about the thing not holding the excitement for you

Heh...so I take it JRYter's stuff turns you off more.

Yeah, I envy those guys who just seem to fall into fortune alla time, too.
Trust me, though.. when it happens to you every few years, you would look at it different

I stop reading LA Fun because he spent to much time on details.

I loved the Chuck stories until he had more then 15 women.
