Jay Cantrell on Amazon

nasario64 🚫

Jay Cantrell is with out a doubt one of my authors on this site and when I read he was gonna post on Amazon Kindle I was in to pay for his work. The story Contact Point is just a mess of characters and sub plots in my opinion. While it pains me to write this I also need to get this off my chest. I feel like there is to many characters for the reader to focus on its hard to get a connection with any one of them. Each new character added to the story regardless of how important to the plot get a little bit to much back story before you never hear from them again. And it's like this thoughout the book. The story it self is lost in the 50 subplots that make up the story itself at times it felt like every thing was kinda sewed together to complete it. There was no solid ground for the plot to stand on. I found it hard to find any one aspect of the story enjoyable. I could go on about it but I felt like i have gotten off my chest what I needed to say. No disresecpt towards you Jay Cantrell. I love your work as I have said I just couldn't love this one like the others

I bought it and thought it was well worth the money. While not the best story he every wrote I feel that a good Jay Cantrell story is better than the best stories of many authors that I enjoy reading. I am glad he is being repaid a bit for all the stories he has shared and hope that dividing his effort between different platforms will work out for him. I also think we take a lot of very good authors on this site for granted as they grow and become better and better.

Can't really convince myself to buy anything off there with multiple story on here still not wrapped up. I'd hate to pay for something that I'm not sure is going to be completed.

Jay is my favorite, tied with Rflj. I think that contact point looses some of it's connection since the other works aren't published on Amazon. Still it is a valuable piece of jays universe, and I will gladly buy his publications. (Unlike Nick Sepico's endless camps.)
