G'day mates, have you seen the post in the SWARM thread about CAP-1 what are our chances that a few of you will take up a challenge to contribute your ideas and pen something to extend the CAP-1 saga with your own take

I am not sure how Tetley would feel about someone poaching his story. It isn't considered proper to just jump in like you are suggesting we do.
Furthermore, most of us have story ideas of our own and don't want to follow another author's lead.
Tetley has indicated that they weren't going to continue with more of the story, if you read the thread about swarm below here several authors have already contacted Tetley, please read the other thread on how to spell SWARM
several authors have already contacted Tetley
Where did you get that information? I read the thread you referenced as it was written and recalled nothing to that affect. I just reviewed the thread and I again saw nothing in it to support your comment.
There was only 1 post in that thread about an author contacting Tetley. I was the one that made that post, and the reason I contacted him had nothing to do with me or other authors continuing his story.
In that thread, you kept encouraging we authors to build on HIS story. Our apparent lack of interest in your suggestion should be enough to indicate that it probably won't happen and you need to drop your insistence that we do what you want us to do.
If you really want to see a story based on Cap -1, then write it yourself. However, contact Tetley first as he may not want you to build on his story.
I did the whole finish a story line for someone else several times. The ones where I worked with the author a lot in the planning came out well, and the one where the first time I worked on something for someone I'd not done any of the planning with took a hell of a lot of work to get it to meld right. Thus I'm reluctant to just jump in and finish another's story unless they give me help and details of what they intended.
Ernest the end of the story Tetley wrote has thousands of way the story could go, please take the time to read CAP-1 and you can see it could head all over the place as the story could be never ending, contact Tetley yourself as tthey have no intention to continue with more of the story, Tetley has given a bloody great introduction for a incredibly great story line. Could any other authors who read this thread please read the story in question and consider adding your input also
@blast
Almost all of us here write to specifically scratch our itch. How much are you willing to pay one of us to scratch yours?
Keep in mind, we would have to have Tetly's permission and he would probably want a pretty nice cut. You also have to figure in taxes so you're looking at a nice chunk of change.
