I'll admit, a simple search box in the Forum would help tremendously! (Especially if you can filter out "pointless rants".) :)

Don't be so sure about it - I think that we can find more than ten of them on this forum :D
I miss the search function that was on the Google forum. I'd much rather find the answer by searching than asking a question that may have answered before. Or be able to find every post mentioning a particular story.

The difficult here is that if you were able to do a forum search, you would find numerous opinions and few answers. :)
