So he just posted a new blog post and in that post he says "I'm working on another new story that should be ready in a month or so. Thank you for your continued support". Another new story come on AWTM finsih some of the books you have already started. I mean if you could just finish one complete story, you could most likely finish all your stories within a month since all the stories and pretty much the same. I am not knocking the stories because I find them entertaining. But damn man I would really like to read something to the end. Or have you just hit a writters block and cant seem to come up with any conclusions or have any idea where your stories need to go? If that is the case why not ask some of the fine folks here in the Story Idea forum. I am sure people could and would give you some excellent ideas for you works. Anyway I am dont ranting about incomplete stories for now. Party on Dudes

If I could stay focused on a single story, I might have published more by now.

When I'm working on one story, and an idea for something else pops into my head, I write some notes for the new one. Often I then start sketching that story instead of the one I was writing before, and then end up working on both in parallel. And then, I remember a story I started a few years before, and start adding to that. And then ...

Of course, in my case, I don't end up with frustrated readers because I rarely start posting them until they are well on their way. (Also, because I don't write them well enough that my readers care.)

no every story he has just stops with a note saying there will be a book 2 but he is working on some new stories. But the new story is the same old story plot. It is like he does not know how to complete a story or what dirrection he wants to take it. Like I said since they are all just aboutt he same story if he could complete one they rest should be easy.

Not necessarily, he is up to book 3 in The Manipulator series and several other series have additional books on Bookapy for sale. At the rate he's posting chapters it will be 2050 before he posts all those chapters.

I hear ya! The only story of his I'm reading is The Adventurer and he only posts a new chapter around once a month, while writing many other stories. Quite a piss-off for this reader...

Under the current rules, nobody can force him to post more frequently, and nobody can force you to read the story, let alone buy the book.
Posting here and selling on ZBS myself, I could live with a rule that books for sale at ZBS must be posted at SOL at a pace of >5% of the text per week. That gives the author twenty weeks to milk their stories. From my experience, this is more than enough to saturate the demand. Failure to comply could result in suspended sales until the quota is met again. After all, being able to post the story as a serial to market a ZBook and to get feedback is a privilege.
That is just me though, and other authors may think differently.

I'd not come across this author before now, so checked his profile after seeing this thread. He seems to have multiple completed books at ZBookstore that he's posting here at a rate of one chapter a month.

I'll be honest, that feels like he's taking the piss. It might not violate the letter of the rules, but it damn sure feels like it violates the spirit of them. Just my 2 penny's worth.

Also what's the deal with the fixation of kicking people in the balls? Every one of his main characters is some ultimate martial arts killer but he almost always kicks them in the nuts.

Just tried to read his current posting. He bounces back and forth between first and third person, sometimes in the same sentence. When I have to read a sentence 4 times to understand who's talking or doing something, I soon lose interest. That's a really basic mistake.

Exactly. Idle curiosity led me to try the new story he posted, and changed from first to third person within the first five paragraphs!
