Thanks, just read that thread. Was informative. The stuff I do was hit a couple of times but not nearly as much as I thought.

The key with story tags, is they're two-fold, both attracting readers and allowing readers to actively avoid what they're not interested in (i.e. 'squicks', of the particular kinks they're rather avoid at all costs (ex: gay sex, death, torture, water or scat play, etc.)

So when posting, it's best to think of both, to better help readers so they won't feel obligated to rate YOUR stories as straight ones as a way of denigrating the stories (i.e. pushing them below the radar). Thus it's more about informing readers in how to properly use the stories, than it is just posting the stories themselves.
