If I read a good review of a story on SOL, I am almost certain to read that story and I usually find that I enjoy the story.
Are there any reviews on SOL, not of the story, but of an author who has written multiple stories? If so, how do I find those reviews of authors - mentioning the author's stories? I read a lot of stories on SOL, but I occasionally come across very good writers whose stories have been on SOL a long time, and I had failed to notice them.

Look at the reviews that each individual has done over time.
True for me, maybe others not, But I tend to review authors that 'appeal' across a broad spectrum of tales.
In other words, they are versatile in their writings.
Even though... many authors tend to write about subjects and eras that they are comfortable with.

Ah... The SOL reviewers creed... say something good or say nothing at all.
Many times I choose nothing.

there is a row of links on the top of the SOL home page (Authors, Advanced Search, Reviews, Forum...)
Click on Reviews and you get a list of all available reviews.
Its default is View By Date, but other options are
View By Reviewer,
View By Story, and
View By Author.

True, but that is just the key used to sort the reviewed stories and has nothing to do with the content of the review.
The OP is asking if there are any reviews that address the author, not the story. I am not aware of that type of review.

For sensitive authors, or maybe even authors not too sensitive, that could rub them the wrong way. It could be seen more personal than a review of their story.

and I still think PotomacBob wants to know about authors with multiple story reviews. The P, Q, and A values are an indication if the writer is very good and by clicking on the story titles he will get to the reviews of the story.
By clicking on the author's name he will get the list of all stories of this author, not only the reviewed ones.
How do you review an author? Especially authors with multiple pen names? SOL does not provide the identity of the author behind his pen name(s).
To review an author you need to have read enough of his stories to have a grasp on how widespread the themes of his stories are. Should it include other info like gender, age, how long he is already writing, the percentage of unfinished works, disposition...

That's a given, but the reviewer should also be able to list the genres tackled by an author, where their successes lie, their writing style(s), common themes that recur throughout their stories, and which stories are most accessible to new readers.

As others have said, reviews of authors is not a facility catered for on SOL. However, occasionally I've come across reviews where the reviewer states their intention is a review of a whole series rather than just the titular story. I think that's the closest I've seen to what you're looking for.
