Someone just let me know that they're translating my story into another language. This doesn't bother me, as long as I'm credited (and not blamed for any mistranslations, naturally), but I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else and, if so, how you responded. I can't check the translation beyond Google Translate (which produces something that seems, on a quick check, to be a relatively faithful translation; there are glitches, but they look like the sort of glitches Google Translate introduces).
Similarly, if there are issues that I'm not thinking of that would make it better to say no, let me know. I don't see a way of actually preventing it, but I could always say I don't want them to continue.
I wouldn't be happy if they were making money off my work, especially since I'm not (so far, anyway), but that doesn't appear to be the case.
