As the US elections approach and the politics pick up in pitch, it's leaking into SOL.
While I understand why some would want to use their blogs as a political platform, I don't think SOL is the place for it.
So, I've come to a decision:
While I won't stop authors from writing political blog entries, any author who posts political stuff in their blog on the site, will have their blog entries removed from the site's home page.

There might be an excusable reason if the author writes political stories and wishes to explain something about the stories to their readers, but that could be done as part of the story in the Introduction or at the end of the story.
Personally, I would tell the author that SOL is not a site for political positions in blogs or the Forum, tell them to remove the political content from the blog entry, and if they fail to do so, I would remove the entire blog entry from the site.
I think that's very fair.
It'd be fun to see a story about Kamala, Ivanka and Melania mud wrestling - but I don't know about anything else. We can read that stuff elsewhere.

Unless it has a pun, or is otherwise amusing. Like poly means many and ticks are blood sucking insects, that is where polyticks comes from.
What about things that pick on US presidential politics in general?
Things like:
Cthuluhu 2020: No Lives Matter
Cthuluhu 2020: The Lesser of Three Evils.
I'm sure there are bumper stickers out there for it. I know you can find Cthuluhu 2020: No Lives Matter covid face masks on-line.
I will be very honest that I did want to write a story called "BLACK DICKS MATTER" about a woman named Karen who was so involved in the BLM that she fucked every black guy at the protest.
However, I felt that it would be taken the wrong way and potentially be seen as offensive to the real work the BLM were doing and so I did not write it.
It was still a good fantasy though.
I agree, despite being in the process of writing a couple of stories with a high, but slightly different, political aspect.

I am not a political individual, and to be honest rather detest when people try to shove their beliefs into my face.
I even take part in "political forums", but almost exclusively in the military and history sections. I love those subjects, but have no interest in watching people bask each other over and over because of beliefs.
