So TeNderLoin has been give access to Lazlos account somehow.
On the one hand, this is good as he/she can now deal with the queue of things that Lazlo left, probably for health reasons.
On the other hand, TeNderLoin states that he/she has no new info on Lazlo. So it looks to me that this access was not granted by Lazlo.
What the heck is going on there?
Lazlo gave TeNderLoin access, but has not given him a personal situation update. Because Lazlo is looking to have his regular editor re-edit the stories I'd say he hasn't got much time to do that work himself.
The next time I see Lazlo on the chat room I'll ask him about his status and if he wants it made public.

TeNderLoin is one of the best editors on SoL and has done work for many authors, as to how many languages he reads and writes, I'm not sure.
TeNderLoin may be "one of the best editors on SoL" but I can see Lazlo changing his password after that unnecessary, gratuitous and divisive blog entry 2 hours ago.
btw, when LZ first posted "Hunter" he said in a blog entry that he had seriously considered posting it under another name.

We all make posts, at one time or another, that we regret. As it's been yanked, you'll likely be doing everyone a favor by ignoring it was ever posted (not having read it myself).
By the way, since TeNderLoin edited several of my books, I know he's been overwhelmed of late, so I can see him farming the work out to others. However, he also knows several other excellent editors.

That is NOT something he does, he just advises the author it's in the queue and it's a long queue so be patient. I've had that a few times. I've also had the odd "Thanks I had nothing in the queue," too.

Um, if a chapter story is re-edited, does this change the timestamp for the story ? Or will the first indication that Emend by Eclipse has been re-edited be that Chapter 23 appears and the story timestamp changes ?

When a multi-chapter story is posted there's a timestamp in the top right corner. When the chapter is edited and re-posted a new timestamp is added below the original timestamp. If the chapter is later re-edited the lower timestamp changes but in both cases the original posting timestamp stays the same.
When a chapter is re-edited/updated the chapter page does indeed show a new timestamp. However on the story entry on the author's stories page, the updated datestamp does not change in this case. I assume (in the case of Emend by Eclipse) it will not change until a new chapter is posted - that is, chapter 23. Is this the way it works ?

Before I answered with what shows on the actual page you read. However, the dates shown with the story brief on the author's story list page has only two dates - the date of the first part being posted and the date of the last post being first posted. On the Stories update page the dates as the shown the same way. Thus if a new part is posted on a not yet completed story the update page will show a new date for the next chapter posted, but neither of those dates will change if a chapter already in the system is revised.
Go to the Author's page (or the "Updated Stories" page or the main page for recent stories).
In the "Description" column - just above the Tags - is [More Info]. Click on that. I normally right-click on it to open it in a new tab but ymmv.
You see when each chapter was originally posted, and when each chapter was last updated.
FYI only chapters 1 and 2 of Emend have been edited and reposted by TeNderLoin in the last few days as he's probably working on the rest. The pages show the details as described above. Also the first 3 chapters of Hunter have been edited and reposted in the last few days as well.
So with a posting every 3 days it seems we will have to wait 2 months for the story to be resumed. :(
I was writing about the story Emend by Eclipse which Lazlo finished writing and quit posting because of his illness last year. The book was finished and available on Lulu but I guess Tenderloin is reeditting it.

Lazlo finished Emend back in August 2018 and he was posting it, but it still needed a good edit.
Access was granted By Laz, but I just found out about it, this week.
I have not heard from Laz in over 4 months.
