I concur. At least in America (U.S.A.), it's pronounced "mil" (as in 'military') + "f" (as in 'self').

I'm more intrigued by what defines a MILF. Is it any woman with a child, regardless of her age? Or is it a woman old enough to be YOUR mother, regardless of your age? If the former, then a 14 yr old teen mother could be a MILF, and that just does not seem to fit within the meaning or intent of the acronym.

I think Darian hit the nail on the head here. It's generally diminutive when seeing an attractive older woman (usually with children in tow (anywhere from 5 to 26, depending on your taste) that you think are 'hot enough to fuck, despite their kids and responsibilities!'

I wouldn't use it for younger tweens (middle school age) or even young teens (13 - 16), no matter their circumstances, but then there are a LOT of pedo fans, who certainly have a different opinion.

But nowadays, with the populations not only living longer, but remaining active longer, the bigger thing are now GMILFs (don't ask how to pronounce it). I've seen many more of these popping up, especially from older women who grew up during or well after the sexual revolution, of who, even when their partnered, frequently are in either open marriages or go to sex clubs where they openly trade partners.

The internet if FULL of these images and motifs, though the term GMILF has yet to catch on. Though, somehow, I doubt anyone on SOL will write about the phenomenon.

That largely depends upon the age of the observer. For those in their twenties, MILFs are those in their thirties. For those in their sixties, it's those in their fifties. Essentially, it's anyone you lust after who has family obligations (hence they're sexy despite the baggage they'd bring to a relationship).

There's a woman my Parents know who became a great grandmother in her mid 50s.

She had 4 daughters, two singles and a pair of twins. I don't remember off the top of my heads if the twins were the oldest or in the middle.

All except the youngest were themselves mothers by the time they graduated high school. Only the youngest managed to graduate and get married before having kids.

Speaking as an average male (a very average male), that acronym is so rare because the only disqualifying factors are 1) the woman has been dead for too long 2) the 'woman' doesn't have any womanly bits (mother by adoption?) 3) some physical barrier to congress (such as rolls of fat obstructing entry).

Have you been to any buffets lately?

Also, when the woman is a coyote. Which is more than a two bagger.

A one bagger is when you put a bag on her head. A two bagger is when you put a bag on YOUR head in case the bag on HER head falls off. A coyote is when you chew your arm off when you wake up in the morning so you don't wake whatever it is that's sleeping on your now trapped arm.

There are literally some women you can't put a flag over their face and do it for 'Old Glory'.

I remember a TV documentary about disabled people having sex. One subject was an extremely obese woman, who couldn't get out of bed unaided, who complained that she couldn't get a boyfriend because she was unable to have sex.

The experts taught her other positions than missionary, in which her rolls of stomach fat didn't obstruct entry, and her programme segment ended with her having a boyfriend (they didn't show the sex TG). However a follow-up said that the boyfriend had left her and she was alone again.

Seriously, there are more whites on welfare, receiving the largest amount of welfare dollars, and yet you never refer to ANY white person as a 'Welfare Queen'. Such language is a dog-whistle for whites to start ranting about how blacks are 'destroying' the country.

If you want to decry spending on social programs, then argue about the principals and details, but don't use it as 'code' to denigrate minorities who already have few options in American (or British) life (I have family in both countries, so hear the same stories being repeated both places). Though I don't have any Aboriginal family, so I can't say anything on that front.

Ernest Bywater ๐Ÿšซ

@Vincent Berg

I am not going to get involved on either side of the question of welfare recipients as to which is right and which is wrong in their statements, except to say:

a). There are people disposed to being welfare dependent and not wanting to work in all racial groups as that's a human behaviour and not a racial behaviour.

b). Some state and federal government organizations and some private organizations will encourage people to welfare options based on the person's racial heritage. Sometimes it's just the individuals within the organization and not a deliberate organizational policy.

c). If you want to argue anything about which racial or ethnical group has more people on welfare you need to do so on the basis of the percentage of that group and not the raw figures of the whole population. Having 500 out of 1,000 people (50%) doing something is a more serious issue than having 2,000 out of 8,000 people (25%) doing the same thing.

d). If you want to keep this discussion going based on political matters I suggest you move it off the forum to DM conversations.

But basic mathematics isn't.

Okay, so let's look at some math.

Assume that each recipient gets $100.

At 500 out of 1000 receiving, you have 500 receiving and 500 contributing, 1 for 1, so each contributor has to contribute $100.

At 2000 out of 8000, you have 2000 recipients and 6000 contributors, 3 contributors for every recipient instead of 1 for 1. So each contributor only has to contribute $33.33

Then each recipient IS receiving the same.

richardshagrin ๐Ÿšซ

So each contributor only has to contribute $33.33

My basic Mathematics tells me three times $33.33 is $99.99. Each recipient doesn't get exactly $100. They get a penny less.

I've known some snow-white Welfare queens who wouldn't work unless it was on her back and the pay was in baggies. Yet, they knew how to get that check and could pop out a kid just in time to keep from having to find a job.

I don't buy the few options bit though. They have the internet which means they can access books and classes to improve themselves for free. I lived in the hood and walked to the library before the internet.

I had to bribe my children to learn to fight the culture of ignorance in the hood we lived in when they were small. Not that all the other families were like that, but many were. You could walk in their places and not find five damn books. How the hell are you going to teach a child to read without books? They couldn't afford them? Fuck that. For the price of a 40 (beer), they could walk to the corner thrift store and get 7 or 8 children's books. I know because that's where we bought some of ours. They're ignorant because they don't value learning. I've seen children in hood schools whose parents valued education get scholarship after scholarship and enter a military academy. I've seen others grow up and get a good trade. The opportunity is there but you have to work it.

Back up a little. CW responded to someone else and complained about what appeared to him as being a racist point of view about welfare recipients by saying there were more whites on welfare than any other racial / ethnic group. I replied about the welfare situation in general. I also mentioned that when making divisions based on race or ethnic aspects you need to look at what percentage of the groups are involved and not just the raw numbers as a larger number of a bigger group will often be a smaller representation as a percentage. Nothing in my post was about handing out money to anyone, just about how you decide which situation is worse than the other in a statistical representation of the situation. Thus there's no need to carry on about it.
