(sarcasm on) It would seem in Missouri they have shops for just about everything. Lately I've been reading a number of stories by SW MO Hermit and I've now found 3 where his character takes his wood to the splitting mall to get it cut up into smaller pieces - talk about speciality shops, wow! (sarcasm off)

True, but it only works when you know the word you are thinking of has a different spelling.
Not saying this is - or is not - the case... but if one is using a speech to text app and then not proofreading... could happen. Just sayin'.

Could be, and more of a reason to have an editor check it before posting. I know two authors who use speech to text, and they have everything checked by an editor before posting.
