Being 1:56 a.m. Eastern Standard Daylight Savings Time, Australia it's now Christmas Day - be you on Daylight Savings or not. So I wish you all a joyous and safe time for this common holiday period, be it a holiday for you or not. And for those of you who are still living in the past, I wish you the same when the calendar rolls over for you too.
I echo that message of goodwill to everyone here (even though Christmas is well into my future)
It's a time to be thankful for all the great reads we've had over the past year. Here's hoping the next year, when it comes, is fruitful for you all, and we experience a cavalcade of great literature (and spicy sexy passages to make for richer reads, too)!
P.S. Just out of curiosity, how many of you give your own books out as Christmas gifts, whether published or not?

Don't give out my book, but since I did own my own craft business before I had to move out of state and I still have a lot of my own equipment, it's really simple to laser engrave and simply MAKE my own gifts for people. Go buy a $5 Pyrex bowl at Wal-Mart, engrave a personal thing on the back, and suddenly it's a $25 gift. Or get a couple pieces of wood, laser cut them, do a little staining and sanding, and you've a nice bat house or wall ornament.
