For about a year, I been seeing references to DW passing. Does anyone have any accurate info?

I wrote what is on the Reader Info website. When I researched his status, I noticed that his Email was inactive and there was no notification of his death in his Profile. I also found no recent posts by him in the Forum. That status has not changed to my knowledge.
Every time we go to SOL, the website automatically logs us in if we exited the website without logging out. Without being logged in, manually or automatically, the author's Email expires after 1 year.
His status will remain Inactive until someone has positive knowledge of his death or what he is doing.

I can't tell you whether he's deceased or completely disabled because I don't know, but I can tell you that he hasn't logged into the system for over 5 years now.
Keep in mind that I "disappeared" from SOL for about ten years due to circumstances beyond my control, but as you can see, I was very much alive.
In the comments to LA Fun there is one from RobinB dated 07/03/24 that says: -
"Chuck Johnson AKA Dualwriter suffered a massive stroke only days after posting Chapter 85 above. Although he finished the story in his head, as well as a follow up to Recluse and Ghost, he never recovered the ability to type with more than one finger. He complained that every time he tried, his Muse just deserted him.
Robin- Dualwriter's Guest"
Robin, Dualwriter's Guest has one published story - an alternative version of a month in the life of Chuck and Steve.
As yet there is no news of his death.
Sorry to hear of his stroke. I had a minor stroke back in August 2025 and found it life changing. Keep us informed.
